Frietjes at DMP

It has nothing to do with Adobe InDesign Server. It's completely irrelevant in almost all web2print tools we make. Database publishing hardly ever uses frietjes. So why am I going to talk about them? Because frietjes are relevant for content management.

SEO with Frietjes

Well... not really. I just needed an example. A lot of my customers are asking questions about SEO, and how contentFLO (our content management module) is set up for it. And what better way than to prove it. We could have gone for a lot of difficult keywords. Actually: we are going for a lot of keywords. But since my customers will probably want to optimize their sites for the same keywords, I thought it best to take a neutral keyword: frietjes.

The original frietjes-page

I started out with a single page about Belgian frietjes, hoping to work some things out over the next few weeks and months. Imagine my surprise when we jumped right to the top of the rankings for one of the main search engines: http://search.live.com/results.aspx?q=frietjes

Not to say that the invitation isn't for real. Any time you're close to Retie on a friday, you're welcome to join us for the best frietjes from the kempen.

Future rambling about frietjes

For now, I'm just rambling about my frietjes. Real content (and an in-depth overview of the strategy I followed to get DMP's frietjes-rating to the top) will follow later. But rest assured: I won't quit till we're number one here: http://www.google.com/search?q=frietjes
